Asbestos fabric ( asbestos cloth, at) - a cloth made of intertwined asbestos threads containing from 5 to 18 % of the binding fiber (viscose, cotton, Dacron).

Asbestos fabric is used as a heat insulator, used for the manufacture of diaphragms in the electrolysis of water, as well as as a raw material for the manufacture of asbotextolites, asboplastics, rubberized gaskets, gasket rings and cuffs. Asbestos fabrics are produced in full compliance with the requirements of GOST 6102-94 and technical specifications for each specific range of asbestos fabrics, as well as according to technological regulations approved in accordance with the established procedure.

Asbestos fabrics at 2 and at 3 have 81.5% asbestos and use such fabrics as a heat insulator in industrial equipment.

Asbestos fabrics at 4 and at 5 are incredibly resistant to high temperatures, which allows them to be used in more extreme conditions.

Asbestos fabric at 6 has a mass fraction of 95% of asbestos and is used most often in the electrolysis of water. Operating temperature range up to + 100 C.

Asbestos fabric at 7 has a 90% content of asbestos and is used as a cushioning material and insulator. Temperature range at 7 from + 130 to + 450 C.

Asbestos fabric at 19 has at least 81.5% asbestos content and is used for the manufacture of compensating gaskets in the production of chipboards. Temperature range at 19 from + 130 + 220C.

Asbestos fabric AST 1 has at least 78.5% asbestos content and is used as a thermal insulation material. Temperature range AST 1 from + 130 + 500C.

Asbestos fabric AST 2 has at least 79.6% asbestos content and is used for sewing heat-resistant clothing. AST 2 temperature range from + 130 + 500C.
