Gamak GMD three-phase electric motors
GAMAK three-phase asynchronous motors of the GMD series are used for working in smoke removal systems, which in turn have a wide range of applications, such as large shopping centers, theaters, airports, food and commodity warehouses, underground Parking areas, tunnels and industrial facilities. In other words, they are used in places of high concentration of people. GAMAK electric motors for smoke removal, in the course of their operation, contribute to the circulation of air in closed rooms in emergency situations, as they reduce the temperature inside buildings, preventing fires, reduce risks and financial losses by preventing the formation of soot, reducing the temperature of the roof and delaying the spread of fire.
GAMAK electric motors have high power in cases where it is necessary to remove a large volume of gases and heat, while at the same time preventing the spread of fire at high and extreme temperatures. The practical functionality of GAMAK asynchronous electric motors for smoke removal allows emergency evacuation of service and technical personnel through emergency exits.
Smoke control systems comply with the EN 12101-3 standard.
At the request of customers, GAMAK GMD series electric motors of the following types can be offered:
Type S2, designed for emergency work on smoke removal in cases of fire.
Type S1, designed for continuous ventilation in tunnels for exhaust gas removal.
