In General, we can say that the steel corner currently occupies a leading position in demand among the entire variety of rolled metal products, which is due to the huge number of options for its use: from construction and industry to the creation of artistic compositions. At the same time, in construction, corners often serve as a substitute for various beams and channels, acting as a bearing node of certain structures and taking on the main load, which, among other things, allows you to achieve a certain amount of money savings.

Currently, the production of this type of product is carried out by two main methods:

• hot-rolled steel corners are obtained by rolling a metal billet in the form of an ingot through a system of shafts, which leads to the final product;
• bent steel corner is obtained by cold rolling technology by bending a metal billet (strip) made of low-alloy (high-strength) or carbon steel on roll forming machines to obtain the desired shape and size of the product.

According to its appearance this type of rolled metal is divided into two main categories:

• corner steel uneven-different width of shelves (faces);
